Asalamualikum Va Rehmatullah
1) Character Improvement:
'O you who believe! Do Not enter houses other than your own, without first seeking permission and saluting the people inside. This is better for you so that you may be heedful. And if you fine no one there in, Still do not enter until permission has been given"
(Chapter 24, verse 27-28)
Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: While I was present in one of the gatherings of the Ansar, Abu Musa came as if he was scared, and said, "I asked permission to enter upon 'Umar three times, but I was not given the permission, so I returned." (When 'Umar came to know about it) he said to Abu Musa, "Why did you not enter?'. Abu Musa replied, "I asked permission three times, and I was not given it, so I returned, for Allah's Apostle Sallalahu Alahe Wasalam said, "If anyone of you asks the permission to enter thrice, and the permission is not given, then he should return.' " 'Umar said, "By Allah! We will ask Abu Musa to bring witnesses for it." (Abu Musa went to a gathering of the Ansar and said). "Did anyone of you hear this from the Prophet Sallalahu Alahe Wasalam ?" Ubai bin Ka'b said, "By Allah, none will go with you but the youngest of the people (as a witness)." (Abu Said) was the youngest of them, so I went with Abu Musa and informed 'Umar that the Prophet Salalahu Alahe Wassalam had said so. (Al Bukhari, Book 73, Asking permission hadith 262)
Narrated Jabir: I came to the Prophet in order to consult him regarding my father's debt. When I knocked on the door, Rasool Allah Sallalahu Alahe wasallam asked, "Who is that?" I replied, "I" He said, "I, I?" He repeated it as if he disliked it.
Al Bukhari, Book 73, Asking permission hadith 267
Manners:
1) Greet people while entering (your or anyone else's) Home with Asalamualikum.
2) Ask permission thrice, if not granted, return back without any grudge in your heart.
3) when someone inquires that who is at the door, one should not answer as "main/me/I" ! App Sallalahu Alahe Wassalam disliked it!
2) Inculcating sunnah as habits:
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet Sallalahu Alahe Wassalam never criticized any food (he was invited to) but he used to eat if he liked the food, and leave it if he disliked Narrated Abu Juhaifa: While I was with the Prophet Sallalahu Alahe Wassalam he said to a man who was with him, "I do not take my meals while leaning."
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The Prophet Sallalahu Alahe Wassalam said, 'When you eat, do not wipe your hands till you have licked it, or had it licked by somebody else."
Al Bukhari - Book 65 (Food,Meals)
Manners of eating would include the three:
1) Do not explicitely criticize food.
2) DO not eat while leaning aginst the chair back or wall.
3) Do not wash hands after eating unless you've licked them.
3) DUA
We talk about beauty soaps, and tonics and pills, we're given with a beauty dua as well, atleast I consider it so.
I also like to add "Allahuma Aj'al fi Vajhi Noora" (Allah please grant noor to my face) as well.
it is reported that Allah's Apostle (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite this after Fajar's Sunnah and before Fajr Fard.
requesting prayers.
